How does your video production process work?

Our process has three simple steps: 1) Request - Tell us your vision, upload your footage, and set your milestones. 2) Create - Sit back while A Video Maker crafts your story with a polished first cut. 3) Deliver - Share feedback and watch your vision come to life with no limits on revisions until it's exactly what you envisioned.

What is your turnaround time?

You'll see your first draft within one booked day for typical 1-3 minute videos. We quote your specific turnaround based on your project's scope, the amount of raw footage, and our current availability, so you always know exactly when to expect your finished video.

What is your revision policy?

We include a full day of unlimited revisions with every project—tweak as much as you need without watching the clock. Need more changes? Just one additional booked day gets you there. There are no limits on revisions until it's exactly what you envisioned.

How does your pricing work?

We'll never nickel-and-dime you with hourly rates. Instead, we scope your project and quote you a flat number of days to first draft—what you see is what you pay. If we underestimate our timeline, that's our problem, not yours. Video Editing is $360 per quoted day, and Video Producing is $1,360 per half-day (4 hours of shooting). Once you've invested $5,000+ with us, ask about our unlimited subscription plans.

What file formats and cameras do you work with?

If it tells a story, we can work with it—any camera, any format, any media. We're not picky about the technical stuff. Just give your files a quick semi-organization and make sure everything's ready when you submit your request. We only start once we have the complete picture.

Do you only do editing or can you handle full production?

We meet you wherever you are in the process. If you've already shot your footage and just need expert editing within your brand guidelines, we've got you covered. Need the full treatment? A Video Maker is an industry-accredited producer who can take your vision from concept to final delivery. You get the flexibility to use us for just post-production or as your complete video production partner.

A Video Maker is a single individual, industry accredited producer, editor, and director D.L. Watson. No other editors are employed and no one is outsourced from other countries.
You’ll work directly with me for through every phase. No agency account managers. Nothing lost in translation.
We break down large projects into milestones with clear deliverables at each phase.
Expect reasonable work to be done every 2 production days until all deliverables are delivered and marked approved.
Per-Project: You inform your vision and provide deliverables and we quote you the turnaround and the flat-rate price. We start as soon as 100% of the quote is paid and when you’ve delivered all assets. The days quoted are scheduled across our calendar and we get started.
This means if we quote you 7 days to turnaround, it may take longer depending on our schedule. We’re 100% transparent with this and what it means for expected timeframes.
Subscription Plans: They save $$$ by allowing more flexibility in scheduling while also allowing for more content to be created.
It’s similar to per-project, you send your vision and we quote on turnaround. But you don’t pay anything besides your monthly fee. If the project is small and only takes 3 production days, we can do a few of those within the billing period.
If the project is large and is quoted to take 22 days, this may spill into the next renewal.
